Protosport Stage 1

My car is complete and amazing. I couldn't of asked for a better job. Their work is top notch. Car pulls so hard from 3k on through redline and the roar is frightening . The car is no joke fast. Check out the work. All 3.2 owners need to do this. I ran today with a 993tt with no problem

Yep, I'll second that.

WydRyd 11-21-2005 05:35 PM

Hehe, glad you like! I was "blown away" too when I had my Stage 1 Upgrade system installed. Makes a HUGE difference indeed :D

Are you intercooled, or not? What boost? 0.5 or 0.7?

YermanCars 11-21-2005 06:00 PM

Gota Love those 3.2 turbo's :D

bigrubberjeep 11-21-2005 06:08 PM

Temptation is a bitc#! ARGH!!!!

twobone 11-21-2005 06:46 PM

whats the cost?

WydRyd 11-21-2005 08:43 PM

If you haven't already, have a full bay intercooler installed and change the boost spring to a 0.7bar one. Then hang on :D

YermanCars 11-22-2005 05:01 AM

Wydryd 1.25 bar is better only if you have a stage 3;)

slow&rusty 11-22-2005 05:05 AM

Congrats.....what is your estimated power with the Stage 1?

Yasin

hobieboy 11-22-2005 05:53 AM

Phil, congrats on the successful build :)
Any more details about the mods? Is it all bolt-on stuff?

Ptoscano 11-22-2005 09:18 AM

I estimate around 360 plus > protomotive estimates 360 without the headers....I was going to get the 1.5 system but the dollars were to high. So I just opted for the stainless Steel custom GHL headers. If I was to go the other route they suggested opening up the motor. Also bought a new set of Fiske FM10 so my budget was somewhat depleted. Those who ask what it cost, well lets say xx,xxx.00

Is this what Proto supplys?

Ptoscano 11-22-2005 10:18 AM

Yes for an additional charge-

MysticAlpaca 11-22-2005 10:33 AM

It looks great!

How much do they cost approx?

Where do you buy it?

How long did it take to install?

Does this just bolt onto a stock 3.2 or do you need a chip?

adomakin 11-22-2005 01:43 PM

Ptoscano, is that a tiny little sump off the bottom of the turbo oil drain? is it entering into the chain housing?

YermanCars 11-22-2005 01:45 PM

Gravity drain, thats what proto does

adomakin 11-22-2005 01:53 PM

yeah i can see its gravity but i wondered if that was a little ally catch tank that i could see before the blue oil pipe?

WydRyd 11-22-2005 02:04 PM

no, it's just a hard oil line. the oil goes directly into the lowest point in the chain housing cover.
