Seats: BF Torino Nurburgrings, do you big guys fit?

I am wanting to put these seats in my 73RS backdate. I am a little bit girthy and am wondering if I'll fit. I am 5'9" and I squeeze my sexy arse into 38" waist pants. I currently have the Corbeau FX-1 seats in the car, which fit me fine. I'd like to know if folks think I'll fit. The other option is to hit the Weight Watchers program

Here's what I am looking at;

TIA

I have those in my car. I really like the seats but I'm thinking of slling mine because my size 32 arse has lots of room to grow in them...I would like a little more support. So to answer your question, I think you will fit. They are great seats and are excellent quality.

Brad,

Talk to "Doug&Julie" on this board. He just put in a set of the Nurburgring seats and he is a "larger" guy. I don't think he has any issues with fit.

Im 5'9, 210 w/36 waist this morning. I may not fit in mine after the holidays, but they are fine for today. Then again, I dont think there is a lot of lateral roam with these seats. Even if you are lean, you are basically just sitting on top of a flat surface. Talk to Stefan. I think the ralley ST seat has a wider base.

FWIW, I still consider these seats to be the best upgrade Ive done to my car to date.

Brad, I'm 5' 9" and 34-35 waist and my hips just barely touch the side bolsters. I move around a bit during hard cornering, and have to crank down on my 5-pt harness to minimize my movement. I think since the bolsters are kind of low on the Nurburgring model, you may be OK. Anyone in your area that has these seats that you can test fit?

Thanks for the replies gentlemen! I was gonna do the leatherette with houndstooth.........until I saw the price I think I may just do the basketweave. Any thoughts on that? Which covering do most of you have? Oh, and I assume these seats are comfortable enough for long drives of 5+ hours?

cheers

I have corduroy centers, which allow less slippage of my butt during hard cornering.

My butt is bigger than Jim's and I fit fine in my Nurburings.

Whew! It never occured to me to check for pants fittment into Torino Nurburgring seats. I'm a (large) 38 these days and our new AX/DE car is about to arrive with these seats.

Will I be too tight in them.......only the holidays will tell!
