Substitutes for OEM heater hose??
Is there any aluminum or metallic type flex hose that will act as a substitute for OEM heater hose in a pinch??

Various silicone rubber items ( single wall, double wall, reinforced with wire, etc)....known as SCEET, SCAT, etc...are available from places like Aircraft Spruce and Supply....do a search....

Your local fixed base operator at your local air port should have a piece of Silicone Air Tubing (SCAT) close to your size. You can remove a small piece of the wire on the end and fold the tube inside itself to reduce the inside diameter to fit your heater ducts. Works good.
