Upgrades
What is the easiest and most inexpensive way to get more power from an early (68-73) 911 engine? Thanks.

Nitrous Oxide?
Seriously now, what engine? T, E, S? What displacement? MFI? Generally I agree with Jubbie. Anything along the lines of a tune up and other simple things like checking your timing advance curve. If you get it within 99% of what the factory had it at during that time period, you are already doing great. In the later years, eliminating restricting exhaust and smog cams can buy you a lot, but there isn't really anything that easy on the early cars. I think the 73 S had more horsepower than the 83 SC. Go figure. George Last edited by aigel; 11-28-2005 at 11:13 PM.. |

Remove all the parts you are not using like A/C and heat, the spare tire, tools, lose change and so on.
