Question Clutch Job Decision, Pics

Got the clutch apart last night. Here are some pics of the pressure plate, t/o bearing, and clutch disk. The flywheel is about as grooved as the pressure plate. I think I need to replace the whole darn thing.

I noticed that if I put the t/o bearing on the ground, and spin the pressure plate around it, the path of the pressure plate is not a perfect cirle, but wobbles a bit off course in and out. I would think with the entire assembly attached, the t/o would be rotating in this way about the transmission shaft, which would have caused the grooves you can see on the front, and about midway back on the inside of the bearing. I would assume this to be the cause of my noise with the clutch engaged (in gear or neutral)??? Let me know what you guys think...

don't forget the flywheel. it's a clutch part too. resurface or replace, depending on how bad/deep the wear is. always at least do a resurface, because it could be slightly warped or have heat related hard spots which could cause chatter.

You may want to replace the following while replacing the clutch assembly;

(Prices are approximate)

Pilot bearing... $35.00
Guide Tube...$85.00
Rear Main Seal...$25.00
Main Shaft Seal...$15.00
Release Bearing Fork...$80.00
Clutch cable, Clevis pin and fork ...$90.00
9 Pressure Plate bolts and 9 Flywheel bolts...$32.00

This will ensure a happy clutch assm. for many years/miles down the road.

I believe your prime concern is that the plate runs flat and perpendicular to the bearing. The slight out of round or wobbling condition of the O.D. makes no difference, as it is a cast piece of material. The machined surfaces that have relation to each other, is the bearing housing/seat and the machined flat of the pressure plate.
