engine compartment sound pad template?
 

I am planning to remove my CIS injection system over Christmas and replace with EFI. When I do that I would like to replace the sound pad. The previous owner shoved in a piece of insulation board so I don't have the original pad. I would like to make my own pad by using some aluminum foiled rolled foam I have laying around but I wondered if anyone had a paper template that would get me close in regards to the shape and size? Thanks

Just tack up the bulk material with some double stick tape and cut to fit. Then remove and use some hi-temp contact cement for final installation. I can take some basic measurements from my pad to get you started.

I used the silver wrapped stuff for my replacement, but looking at it now I prefer the look of the standard black material - less jiffy-pop.
