OC PCA group Toy Run to Children's Hospital
Here are a few pictures from the PCA group get together and drive to the Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). It was so nice to see the smiles and know that we as Porsche owners did some good today and made a small difference in someone else's life. Not too mention, they had some really sweet cars come out today. Not one but two Carrera club coupes (#31) was one of them. Also, got the chance to meet a new Pelican, Wickd89 and had breakfast with B D and 450knotoffice.

Nice Pictures! Sorry I was late, but it was great to meet a few people (Chris and Scott). It looks like we were able to deliver quite a few toys to some great kids.
Hope to see everyone at the Cayman unveiling......

Thanks for the pictures, Chris. A very nice time was had by all. There must have been 75+ cars out there today. We had an early RUF slantnose with only 18,000 miles, a 2004 GT3 with only 2000 miles, not one but TWO identical 50th anniversary edition PCA special 997's (only 50 will be made), and a whole bunch of everything else (996 turbos, 993 turbos, NA 993's, and a bunch of SC's and Carreras). What a gathering of cars! Wickd89 (Luis), it was nice to finally meet you. That drive back through the canyon was beautiful and it was nice to see a virtual clone of my own car in my rear view mirror. Your car is in very nice shape, btw. Chris and Brett, nice to see you guys again, as always.

Thanks for the kind words 450knotOffice (Scott). Fun ride home. The weather sure changed along the route (some chills). Looking forward at yours on the road was fun as well.
Chris, Thanks for the pics. Like your targa... Kevin, Surprise not to see you at this event. Tons of fun; although short for me......;-( Thursday night is the invite only preview of the Cayman in Newport (6-8pm), are you coming out? Chers, Luis

Luis,
I ended up going for a drive with the 914 guys this morning. Looks like I missed a good time in the OC, but we had a good time as well. See my report and pics at the link: SoCal 914 run pics - 12/3 There was a Cayman sitting at Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena on my way home, so its already here. I won't be in Newport for the "formal" event, but I'll probably head over to Rusnak during the week to have a look. See you guys at the next event... Kevin

What a great morning! I would have to say this by far is my favorite PCA event of the year, no tires squealing but just good people helping some kids smile.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Nice turnout!! I just transferred my PCA membership from LA to OC. I live near LAX, but the OC region is more active. (eg i stopped going to the monthly LA breakfasts cuz only a few cars would show up).
Nice of you to share the wealth with the kids at CHOC. If anyone is interested, join me tomorrow Sunday 12/4 for a Toys for Tots event w/ over 1000 European/exotics expected. Check it out here: http://www.motor4toys.com/ Hope to meet some of you soon in OC
