Hi,

I,m looking to buy a 1995 993 near Pennington NJ and want to get a PPI . Any suggestions re: reliable Porsche mechanic in that neighborhood .

Appreciate any leads.

Quite a hike for a car near Trenton or Princeton.

Perhaps some central NJ members will chime in.

Shoulda checked the map. The two brothers that run Old Bridge Tires are PCAers with some wicked fast cars. They might be a good option.

I can second the "Old Bridge Tire" recommendation.
I buy all my tires from Jim. He's a great guy and know his Porsches. He's also an instructor in case you go that route after buying the car.

Old Bridge Tire
County Highway 516 North, Old Bridge, NJ 08857

Second recommendation is:

Body Motion

You could also try Dan Patchel from Cars, Inc Targa top rebuilder 800-770-7671... He runs a swap meet @ the Pennington place. Lou

I second the motion for Bodymotion. Bruce Anderson also recommends them in his book.

Bodymotion and Patchel are two good, local suggestions. Unfortunately, Jim and Bob sold Old Bridge Tire.

I drive up to Vehicle Craft Inc in Dover, NJ to have work done on my car. Doug is a very straight shooter. Although there are a couple of Porsche shops in the Princeton area I choose to make the long drive.

Not sure if Autoteknic (sp ?) does PPI's or not but they are right on RT 31 in Pennington. I just drove by there this weekend and they always seem to have a bunch of P-cars for sale on their lot.
