That's no way to treat the flag!
So I come home this weekend after being away for thanksgiving to find that someone decided to kick my side mirror off. To make matters worse, the bent/dented the door in the process:
![]() ![]() So - I need a new mirror, that's obvious - one of the cast tabs sheared off. My questions are - the door looks like it could be hammered back up form the inside, which would require taking the door a part, but will I still be able to reach it enough from inside or will I need to have it pulled from the outside. I have no experience with any type of body work - but I'm handy and confident to a fault. Thoughts, suggestions? Also - if I by a used mirror of a different color, is that something I can paint myself? Any help is appreciated.

Track down a good Paintless Daint Repair person. A referral from a good dealer would be advisable. A good one will remove that dent without a hammer and without a trace ;-)

Bummer about that. On the plus side, a great excuse to upgrade to 993 mirrors.

I think that's a good call on the paintless dent repair, I'll make some calls - I think Ted has a mirror for me - I should probably remove the other mirror and have them both painted - Jay, I thought about the areo mirrors, just not sold and going away from the original look.
