SoCal 12/3 Mountain run.
Don't know if any of you 911 types were planning to join us, but it looks like we're getting snowed out. California???
Anyway, change of plans, we'll go to the beach instead. God I love this place. Updated map here

I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I think PatrickB is going to make it as well.

I may just have to bring out the 993 for a bit of canyon running. Need to do some calendar checking, but it looks good at this point...
My car is still a dusty mess from Ortega last weekend (and other driving to be fair), so I'll need to give it a quick wipe down in the morning so I don't embarrass myself in the photos.

I'm working in the morning, soccer game at noon (playoffs), SC game next, plus half the stuff in the engine compartment is all taken apart getting ready for smog check this month.
Geez, how many excuses do I need? Plus my one-armed grandmother need to be picked up at the airport because she has two bags Yeah I know but I crack myself up. |

Guys drive fast and be safe. If the rest of the OC crew is up in the morning, don't forget the toy run to the children's hospital. Meeting at Original Mike's in Santa Ana. Announcements at 8:30, breakfast at 9. Sorry for the hijack, Howard.

Those canyon roads can get slick with just a bit of rain, especially early in the season.
BE CAREFUL!

I'm getting ready to go.... But I'm looking out side at heavy low clouds, and very wet pavement. No rain right now... Still On??

Yea, Patrick. That's one of the reasons I didn't make it today. I still need to scrub in my new tires and didn't feel like slipping around on wet, dirty roads. So I decided to attend the PCA Orange County Region's annual CHOC toy run after their monthly breakfast. Chris and Brett showed up, as well as Mark and Laura Hergesheimer and one of our new Pelicans, Wickd89 (Luis).
Did you have a good time and how was the turnout? |

Had a good run this morning with the 914 guys. Thanks to them for letting a few of us non-914 types join in. The weather was spectacularly clear, there were no bumps, bruises or off road excursions, and nobody came home with a present from the CHP. I think we ended up with 10 or 11 cars. Since this was a 914 event, pics are over on the 914 Board at the following link:
