Oil leak behind oil cooler turned out to be.....
......a small disaster.
I pulled one of the bearing number 1 through bolts. I noticed that the nuts behind the oil cooler was loose so I tried to fasten the nut. This ended in a a bolt that came loose.

bloody alloy cases! i guess it's teardown time now. not much else you can do.

Yes, its teardown time. It only run 35000 km (22000 miles) after a complete overhaul. It is a 2.4S engine which was running very strong with a very low oil consumption and a minor oil leak
