i want a close ratio gear box for my street driven 91 C2.

where's a good source for this information?

can my G50 be modified to a 6 speed box?

Hi:

There are a LOT of gear ratio choices and each and every situation is different. One factors engine RPM range, rear tire diameter, how the car is used, and top speed to select the right gears for each application.

Your G-50 cannot be modified to a 6-speed, but a 993 6-speed box can be fitted to your C2 by installing the 993 transmission mounts, shift shaft and shifter.
