I do not believe those are fuel lines but rather lines between the engine and the charcoal cannister mounted up front by the driver's side battery - they are part of the emissions control system. The fuel lines enter the tunnel through the front tunnel bulkhead.

You're going to owe me a cup of coffee at least for this...but stay tuned, I'm soon going to be pulling carpeting & floorboard...

Okay...line 1 goes to hard line A in your pic. Obviously, line 2 to hard line B. The soft lines hooked to the hard lines with those shiny screw clamps that Porsche uses. BTW, thanks for getting me in gear. I hadn't pulled the gas pedal, the carpeting and the floorboard in quite some time. I have some dust & small debris back there. "Monica", my shop vac, is going to do a bit of work before I put it all back together.

You are right, the lines are go to the charcoal canister in the trunk. Sometimes I get my part names screwed up because I have so many parts that need to be put back onto my car and they all sound the same. Ok, yes, I am a rookie. Wooohoo, now I can finish hooking up my pedals and new foot boards. Then its on to the next task.
I appreciate the help. Let me know when you want the coffee. Jamie

I'm hoping to be at the R Gruppe gathering in May. Bring your thermos. I prefer black, no sweeteners or cream. Glad to help. It was fun...I had to smile, looking back there, then knowing all was installed by factory hands and tools back in July of '72. Even in the areas they knew the customer wouldn't see, the craftsmanship of the day shows!

Bring Monica, I'll make sure to have an extra cop-o-joe for her too. :-)
