Adios little SC :(

What a great car Maryanne has been. But early this morning the keys were passed to the new owner, RSlater, and he and ladyfriend Wheels aka Vanessa, start the journey back to Seattle. Mark is sad .

Oh, and, I hope her parents like him......

Always sad to see a good one go but at least the car is going to a good home! At least you could have turned the lights on in the neighbourhood for them!

Hope they have a good drive home!

I feel your pain. I know what it is like to let go of a beloved P car, it ain't easy!

It's hard to see to see her go, but then again there is the excitment and anticipation of a new ride!

Best of Luck to all.

OMG. I'd cry, cry, cry to watch the tail lights of my baby fade into the distance. You are a strong man. How did you fight the urge to run after them with the pink slip and say "no man, no, I want her back."

Is the next Porsche in your future going to be Gilligan or The Captain?

The new 993 is beautiful! My favorite for a blend of "old and new"

Good Luck

Ouch!!!

Don't know how I would cope with it

If the new owners take good care of it I guess it's OK...

The 993 makes up a little bit.

Obi-Wan could have said it better; but here goes "May the Porsche be with you"

Damn Mark I didn't even know you were selling her. As you know your SC was the inspiration for the mods I made to my Carrera. How does the 993 compare to the SC? Better or just different?

I'll be keeping an eye on it for you here in the Northwest. I am sure Ross/Wheels will take good care of it.

Sad day for you, but congratulations to Wheels on a great car!

I sold the first porsche I ever bought (an 82 Turbo) a few months ago and bought nearly the same car. It was tough at first, but I absolutely love the 993. I'm sure you will too.

Hey now! That's just not fair . .. showing Ginger all waxed up, following shots of Maryanne early in the morning, just waking-up . . . headed out for a cross-country job.

Suuurrrre, Ginger is drop-dead sexy . . but give Maryanne her dues. She cleans-up great, is a whole lot of fun, AND low maintenance.

pict from...

Yep, Maryanne gets a bit sweaty in the heat of Texas. I'm glad to hear she's headed back to the NW.

Those people sure look happy. That, in itself, would help me part ways.

Nope, just adding to the collection.

I seem to spend other people's money quite well.
