Won't crank?

It did this once before, but on that occasion repaired itself on the second start attempt...

Get in after letting it sit for about a week. Turn the key to run, battery runs the fuel pump strongly and all the idiot lights, turn the key to start and nothing happens at all. Solenoid makes no movement whatsoever...

Perhaps related, opposite the fuel filter are three precariously mounted cannon plugs. They are secure, but above them hangs a disconnected plug with two female attach points. Wires seem to originate just above the left cylinder bank..

Ideas?
