mechanic fo ppi in Sacramento?

I am looking at my first 911 (see other post) and may want a ppi done in Sacramento where the car is. Anyone know of a reputable porsche mechanic to do a ppi?

Thanks- JP

I don't know any machanics in Sac except the roving one. Have you tried Mobile Works - Jimmy Deering? His number 408-580-7919. Thing is, you'd probably want it on a lift for a full inspection. Call him anyway.

No personal experience, but he's been getting rave reviews. There are two guys...Jimmy Deering and Tom Ammon. One works in the bay area and the other in Sacramento.

Call Jimmy Deering at Mobil Works East, Sacramento. He did a PPI for me, and was spot on about the car's condition. Easy to get along with too. His cell: (408) 580 - 7919.

Frank's Automotive in Sacramento. Contact the local PCA and they will no doubt concur.

Franks Automotive is near my house and I see all models of Porsche there, from beautiful 356s to late model 993/996 and Boxsters. I don't have any personal experience with Franks but it appears to be a popular shop. Another shop I have heard of is IPB Autosport but I don't know if they do PPI's. Good luck!

Frank's is good they serviced my car before I bought it. There is also IPB - you can ask the local PCA about them. There is also Salerno Motorsports in Rocklin - call Ben Salerno.

Good luck!
Ken
