ignition hestation
1987 carrera...when I turn the key to start the engine, I some times get a slight hesitation (no reaction) and then the starter starts turning and the motor comes to life.
Most times it will turn right away and other time as above... Any suggestions as to why and what should be done?...Thanks |

Not enough current to starter solenoid. Most likely dirty connections: ground at battery, ground at chassis/transmission. Check battery voltage to see if it is fully charged.
