Deck lid hinge removal?
I bought a right turbo deck lid hinge which can accept a gas strut to hold up my new Carrera wing, how do they come out? Bolts? and should a standard left gas strut just fit in. My 84 has the strut tabs on the firewall. Thanks anyone for help. BTW, I don't have the hinge yet and I can discern exactly what I'm feeling under the hood around the hinge. Just don't tell me it has to be welded in!

BTW - it has a circlip in the slip pin. you may want to stick a mirror up in there w/ a light. It's easy once you see it.
