Ok.... I found this --> http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/tac/fqa/active.pdf
Might be of some help to others, too... However, I can't find info on a symbol that is a "3" ( or is that a "B") with a big "smiley" U around / below it ...anyone ?? Wil

Hmm. Given the continent of origin I would suspect it's VERBUS, Kamax, Ribe, etc. VERBUS is part of Textron now, I can't find their logo. Kamax, Ribe both German.
Since 1999 the headmarks are required pursuant to the "fastener quality act"-- the doc you posted should have all the headmarks in it. . . More below http://www.dscp.dla.mil/gi/prod_services/logoreg.html

Thanks, John, the stamping I'm investigating is found on a press-in wheel stud... property class 10.9...65 mm long under head, 14 x 1.5mm ( for our Porsches)...and is "supposed" to be sourced from Sway-A-Way....
Still can't find it on these lists unless I'm blind.... ![]() Wil
