77 2.7s Alternator Upgrade

I need some advice I want to upgrade my alternator to a 95amp and I have a 11 blade fan. Is it possible? what are the implications. I am an electrical dunce so go easy!

I dont know if the 95 amp fix. But I have a 90 amp in a 2.7 and 2.4 911's. I brought a 1984 911 90 amp alternator for the conversion. I use the same fan, housing and pulley. The electrical connection is the same, exept for the cable that go to the external regulator that you need to eliminate, because moder alternator are internally regulated. You need to take the fan housing to a machine shop to remove some material from the housing alternator base. Compare and measure the old alternator long vs. the new alternator long and the diference is the material that you will need to remove from the housing alternator mounting base. Any quiestions contact me.

I didn't have to remove any material on my stock fan housing.
