finish on black 74-later mirrors
Does anyone know what finish the factory used on the black mirror style between the durant and the later flag mirrors (74-77, I think). They came in chrome and black, right side only. I'm guessing it can only be 1. black chrome 2. black oxide 3. black powdercoating? Since the OEM black ones are discontinued, I was thinking of purchasing one from Stoddard and having a shop paint/chrome/oxide or whatever it for me. Anyone have this kind of mirror that can shed some light on this for me? Thanks, much appreciated.
