Another... vacuum sound

When turning the crank manually, I can hear a distinct sound - sounds like a vacuum leak from the left engine bank, somewhere close the the distributor.

The sound starts at about 20 degrees before TDC and ends at about 10 degrees post TDC; sounds like breathing in and out. No other sounds on any other cylinder.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Jacob

if the engine is out of the car, try a leak down test, if in the car, same and/or a compression test. other wise all is just speculation.
