Koni Struts - Is this a fair price?

Gents,
I have purchased a set of rebuilt 1970, 911S ATE calipers. Now I need a new stru that fits the 3.5 inch spacing. Here is the offer I have from a German guy, does this sound like a fair price or can I do better?
Vr, Bavaria911

Here is what he wrote:

I can offer you an original Koni shock strut (for a “S” brake caliper) for the front and also original Koni struts for the rear.

The rear one’s are new, only some marks from stocking, the forward one’s are used but in good condition.

The set (4 each as on the photo) for a price of 400 Euro + 21 Euro for shipping ($500 US Dollars).

That seems high . Any front strut with the 3.5 inch spacing will work. The bigger brake size became standard about 1975/77. The rear is almost the same except the lower mounting bolt size changed in 71 or?
I recently saw a full set or Bilsteins(with strut housings and shocks ) go on ebay in 2-300$ range

John,

Thanks. I would try to bid on ebay, but with some parts I feel better looking at in person.
I always get out-bid at the last second and with the 7-8 hours difference, I'm up at 0300hrs which makes for a long day!
Thanks,
Bavaria911

You should post an add here on pelican. I think SC struts and shocks would work well for you.

A new set of front Koni strut inserts cost $350. There are no struts for rear- only shocks. Probably what he meant. If the front struts include the inserts then I think it is a great deal.
