need examples of and corresponding paint codes for pale yellow...
for a '73 era RSR customer project. I did a search for light yellow, and the results came back too yellow.
need to know pretty soon! appreciate the help! |
You should do a search. There are several "yellow" cars threads. I think Talbet Yellow is lighter than the light yellow of my car. Your right though, light yellow - 117 is very yellow!

you may be looking for sahara beige, paint code 516-9-1. people read "beige" and think....well, they think beige. it really isn't though. it's a very soft milky type yellow (looks great but not in photos). "dan in pasadena" just got his car out of the body shop and it just happens to be sahara beige. i don't think he would mind sending you some pictures.

How about bamboo beige?

There is a summer yellow 965 that just went off ebay, look for completed sales under porsche turbo, the picture is very accurate, i looked at the car today in the midday sun, it is very pleasant.
