When installing headlight relays...

Im a little confused on what wires I should take from the fuse box and connect to the relays. Any thoughts.

Here's a diagram I made for a 1980 911SC that may help.

your fuse box should be labelled w/ R and L high and low. can't tell you off the top which pin on the relays is the "on/off switch" for the relay, but that's the pin that each headlight's wire from your fusebox should be connected to. (a search will reveal which pin does what on the relays. plenty of diagrams here ab. this)

i used 4 relays so it will be a little different if you're using 2. if 2, then i'm not sure if it's better to have one relay control both lows and another both highs, or entire left side vs. right side...

i'd prefer left/right b/c if one died then i'd still have light as opposed to having to continue driving on highs.

Ok thanks for the help on the fuses. I now know which wires to use.

Ok just one more thing, say if I wanted to rewire the grounds for the bulbs, where is an optimal ground location? In the headlight bucket? Or somewhere else?
