Starter Solenoid Wiring Help

Do the yellow wires in this picture look correct?

I know the one for the ignition switch is supposed to go on top and the one for the cold start injector on the bottom. I'm just not sure which wire is which.

The Bently manual lists the ignition wire as 2.5 and the cold start as .5. I assumed this meant the ignition wire was larger so I put it on top. Any help to cure my ignorance is appreciated.

Thanks!

David,

Can't really say for sure whether you have the correct wires on the right locations or not, but the heavy wire goes to terminal #50 and the smaller wire goes to terminal #15a on the solenoid. If you sprayed the area down with Brakleen or similar degreaser and brushed it good ... you will probably find the terminal designation raised on the bakelite end cap of the solenoid ... right next to the Faston tabs!

You and Mr. Hall are correct. The large yellow wire connects the ignition switch to the solenoid to crank the engine.

I posted a related thread yesterday.
