993 Targa

I have a question on a 993 Targa. I love this car, black on black leather with that sliding glass roof... problem is the sliding glass roof!

When you push the switch to open the roof, its a 25/75 chance it will open. You can hear the motors running but nothing. Then when you try to close it it will close about 80% then stop. Then again in sometimes closes!

Any ideas?

Dude, simplify your fractions!! 25/75=5/15=1/3

Nevermind that last comment... hehehe...

I'd say it's got to be some gear or cable or something not engaging correctly....

If I remember correctly there are two motors under the back shelf area. Has anyone does this before? If not I will let Wayne know I will be posting a new DIY article!
