Fuel supply/return fitting sizes

I'm looking for a little help from any plumbing gurus...

I measure the fuel supply/return hard line fittings as having female fittings (see the pics) which thread onto a spare fitting I have (wrong kind tho) which measures 13.8mm/.54" and has threadpitch of 1.5MM.

I am looking for the right fittings to adapt these to AN. Unfortunately I have to do all this by mail...can't find local fittings easy. I would have guessed -8AN, but .54 isn't exactly .5"

PET isn't specific. Anyone know for sure?

thanks!

These people have all the right stuff. (for carrera) Don't know about an sc. I bet you can find a place closer to you than florida though.

Thanks Jerry.

Anyone who has plumbed in fuel to the existing supply and return lines know the correct dimensions, and if they want a male 37deg -8AN or other size? Seems aweful weird for these fittings to be AN but have a metric threadpitch.

the metric measure of the size is 13.7mm, so my second guess of 14mm 1.5tp doesn't seem right either.

thanks all

JohnJL I am going thru a CIS to EFI conversion and I took the fittings that "mate" to the ones in your picture to a local speed shop to try and get matching AN fittings and the guy looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my forehead!! So what I'm doing is useing the factory fittings that mate to the ones in your picture and I may be going with barbed fittings in the hose and then to AN fittings. Once I get the EFI up and running I then can remove what I have and have it made locally if that makes sense. In essence I would bring to a shop a model/template of the fuel line and ask them to make a more permanent setup then what I'll make if that makes sense.

if you're just looking for unions to go on the supply/return lines, then to AN hose ends, it looks like the M14 or M16 x 1.5 to dash 6 hose male to male union is the right one.
all carrera fittings are M16x1.5
I don't know anyone with an SC or I could check.
Don't they have all sorts of metric stuff in the regular stores down there?

Thanks guys...nein, I have not been lucky in finding any well-stocked auto or hardware stores...I long for US economic and market variety....
