What carpet and seat materials are these?

Is this velour carpet? And is this called black or charcoal? It's in a 72T with S trim. And, since a little of the seat material is showing, does anyone know what this grain is called? Elephant grain? It's much coarser than the usual and doesn't hold a shine very well. The COA for this car says the interior material was "Leatherette/Basket Weave", but that sure isn't what I see. It is the original interior, by the way.

I should rephrase the question. Is the carpet perlon or velour? I'm pretty sure it's velour, but just want to double check. And, does anyone have any info on this particular rough-grained vinyl? It's noticeably different from the shiny, smooth-grain vinyl on the door tops and under the rear window. Does it have a name?

That looks like the Velour. Originally a dark charcoal (almost black) with some white fibers (salt and pepper). This sounds correct if you had a lot of S options. The vinyl looks correct for 72/73. It was different from the 69-71 vinyl. I've never heard of it named. The "elephant " grain is very different and 68 only.
