911 tube frame drawings

I am looking to build a tube frame for my 73 911. Does anyone have any drawings from a previous project. I am not planning to race competitively, I am looking more for the fun of the build and a little DE track time.

A "tube frame" or a "cage"? Big difference!

Here's some pix of the cage I built for my '77

Thanks for the links. The pictures are good, but some cad style drawings would be really nice. My first big hurdle is the front susp. pick up points.I could buy a new pan, but if I am going to tube the rest of the car I would like to start there, and save the price of the new sheet metal.

I have been there and I woudn't go there again. The price of the new pan if only for the purpose of finding the proper pick up points will seem insignificant by the time you get done so just get it.

I believe the factory manuals have dimensioned drawings to the original pick-up points. If you are going to use the origional 'A' arms, I would also buy the replacement sheetmetal, if only to give you a reference, and fresh metal is much easier to weld to.
