Fuel Pump Relay???
Just got my 75' 911's CDI and some wiring upgraded, but now when I reach about 4000 rpm it chugs violently until I drop back down. does this sound like someone put in the wrong fuel pump relay? or any other suggestions?

It's more likely a lot of things except the relay. Check ignition, incl points, plugs and wires, and rotor and cap. Also your distributor. Other possibles are your WUR, coil and fuel distributor.
I would check/change the points and check the ignition items first.

Was your ignition timing changed?

As far as I know nothing was changed to the distributor, but i believe he did change the relay.
the problem is he went south for the winter...and if its just the relay than that is something i can contend with. it was suggested to me by a buddy. |
