Seat Rail Lowering
Looking to lower my drivers seat. I've taken measuerements and it look slike I can lower the seat rails about 1 1/4" without any major problems. I'm thinking of cutting out these rails and shortening them by the 1 1/4".
![]() Then having them rewelded. I know there are issues with the fuel lines in the tunnel, but wondering if there are any other down sides to this operation. Also, any pictures would be greatly appreciated. TIA, John

John, I think that is standard procedure if you want to keep the sliders. If moving the seat isn't an issue, try mounting the seat without the sliders. This gave me room for my helmet.
