Door velvets = less noise

Just wanted to report that I installed the upper door velvet weathersrips I inquired about in this thread. To my surprise, it stopped virtually all road-noise I had in my doors.

The door velvets are not that bad to install. No need to remove the glass, just make sure you don't drop them inside the door. It took me longer to remove the door pamel and get the old one out than it did to R&R the seal.

Thanks for the help guys!

Cool. I'm going to try this if only for the reason that the part involves installation of "tits".

Perfect Timing

I asked about that seal a few weeks back and didn't get a reply...
Looked like it was riveted in place, but I guess not.

Appreciate the post, mine are shot and are suspect as the of my window wobble noise.

Thanks, Gordo

I'm not having probelms with noise but will they help prevent my power windows from binding while taking forever to go up and down?
