Hi All,
Nearing the end of reassembly of my 2.4L CIS I've torn down for cleaning ,oil leak fixes and cosmetics . I can't remember where this part goes ! Hoping someone can help identify this part and it's proper location. Thanks ,Manfred.

Back part of the engine, is a vent, believe that it goes on the oval cover in the center.
Been many years but the black rubber part is on the tranny side of the sheetmetal facing down, then hooks to the engine crankcase. Very nice looking 2.4! JoeA

It's for draining oil out of your airbox. There should be a nipple on the underside of the airbox. Connect the hose there and mount the valve on the tin like Joe said.
