SSI versus Dansk HEs for 1972 911T with MFI?

Am seeing both in the Pelican catalog, the Dansk seems significantly more expensive. What are those extra dollars getting me, if anything? I'm looking for a set with all the correct air takeoffs for my MFI car - thermostat heat tube (left), MFI flapper box heat tube (left), and air input tube for heat up to cabin (both sides). Original appearance is a must.

Any thoughts?

I know that the SSI doesn't have the heat tube leading to the air intake...does the dansk? Any pics? I made the mistake of powder coating my factory exchangers back in the 70's. They look pretty krappy right now. I've toyed with the idea of stainless replacements in ceramic coated gray to replicate the factory paint job when new. However, they work, so I'm leaving them alone.

I Bought mine this summer (dansk) for 750 new. I found they were cheaper at that time but not even close to the quality of the ssis. I would use ssis if I were optioned but at the time The price was the major factor and ssis were 250 more

The quality & fitment of the SSI boxes blows away everything else.

They have a specific box for MFI that has the correct heat supply to the injection pump.

No risk of insufficient warm air to the pump to optimize the fuel mix after warmup and prevent oil dilution.

There is really only one choice, the SSI.

the extra $$ are getting you a cheap knockoff of they guy who invented the stainless heat xchanger box...

get the SSIs - maybe get an extra pair and put one set in your living room as an art work - 'cuz they are.
