The protruding tab on the rightmost washer engages in the cut part on the one next to it. I believe the rearmost part of brake lever touches swtich to deactivate brake light (handle up, brake engaged, light on) Washers on left side are friction washers to keep the heat levers in place. put one on each side of left handle and throw one on rt side between other two washers. Adjust nuts to give some friction to red handles... Hope this helps, going from memory. Lou

Wish I could figure out how to post the PDF I am looking at. Anyway, here goes. (I can't tell from the picture exactly where the handbrake lever goes in the sequence -- but I can get the order of the discs right!)

Install Bolt with head to left.
From bolt head moving to the right
flat disc
left lever
flat disc
(handbrake lever goes here??)
disc with two prongs close together oriented with close-together prongs forward and pointing left (do they engage small holes in the side of the handbrake lever mounting??)
flat disc
right lever
flat disc
disc with single large tab oriented with tab rearward and pointing left
washer (does this large tab engage the rearward widely-spaced tabs on the other non-flat disc??)
nut.
