Headlight Knob removal
How do I get the headlight knob off ( the knob you pull to activate the headlights)? Is the knob glued on or how is it fastened?
Thanks.

With a jewelers screwdriver, remove the plastic face that has the picture of the headlight on it. Now remove the phillips head screw.
Done.

I popped the cover off, but all I see is a rounded end with threads. I'm struggling to get the rubber knob off now. How can I take it off without tearing the rubber?

Matt,
Could you take a picture for us if you haven't figured this out by now? Mine came apart just like Nine9six said, pop off the light emblem then unscrew the brass screw and your done. Maybe yours is different. Good luck and don't take any wires off the back without labeling and taking pictures.

Cool! I got the job done. I had to get a set of pliers to unscrew the round nut below where the screw was supposed to be. Overall, I got a chance to solder some wires, and know my ignition/light wires pretty well. Thank you so much!

Did you guys see a bulb in the knob?? I'm trying light up my fog light knob. Does the cover come off easy without scratching it?

No bulb in the Headlight knob. There should be a bulb in the fog light knob though. You might be able to pop off the face of the knob with a small screwdriver, but the way I got to the bulb was by crawling under the dash (which means taking a a few things apart) in order to get to the bulb.
