Interior Trim Retainer~??
I don't think these were serving any purpose on my 80 SC...but it was long ago when I tore out the interior.
PET shows a retainer that - might - go here for 79's and earlier. Anyone confirm or deny applicability to an 80? I'm wanting to cut them out: one side to mount an ECU... Thanks, Jim

There used to be metal bracket mounted on each side and for the life of me I don't remember what purpose they served . I deleted my rear seats and use my to hold a hinged shelf . There is that clear as mud for ya .

I could be wrong, but my 78 has hardware attached at that point, seems like a luggage strap anchor point
