engine drop
I'm no mechanic, but every time I tackle something myself on the 911, to my delight I seem to be able to figure it out.
How hard is it to drop these engines (or, more to the point, how hard is it to put them back in)? How does one learn how to do this?

Hello mate
I have always had the same experience as you where each job I try has turned out ok - these cars just seem to be mostly well thought out which is a result for us home mechanics. I dropped the engine on my 3.2 with the help of the guy that was going to buy it and it was all pretty straighforward. Its nice to have 2 pairs of hands but im sure with more time you could tackle it on your own. I'm still prepping the 3.6 that is going back in but im hoping that the install is going to be as easy as the removal! I say go for it & keep us posted, oh yeah lots of photos will save yr bacon when you are tryin to put it all back together.
