You might do a search and post those links here. There are hundreds of pics out there already.

Mike,
I tried one of those clear wheels too. I couldn't tell where it was.

I am trying to keep the car "appearring stock" to qualify for collector plates next year.
I like zefsuper911's solution to make the stock 3 spoke a little more modern. Well done.

Everyone's going to tell you to use either a 930S wheel (shown below in my old 944) or a Momo Prototipo. Pelican is offering them in both black centered and in silver centered. You may get a few that recommend others including a Nardi (also shown below) but basically it'll be those two. Agree...do a search on "Steering AND Wheel" in the title of the thread.

Momo wheel in the early car is the only way to go. But for an '85 i think i would try to get one of the 930 wheels they are sleek and pretty modern looking too.

Zefsuper911, What hood badge is that you used in the center of your three spoke? Is it a standard 911 badge or one of those smaller 356 badges?
In my '76 I need to restore my three spoke so I have been thinking of using a pin bit in my router (!) to countersink one of those hood badges actually INTO the center slightly to make it look more factory original. Not sure if that will work or not. Not to hijack but : Anyone done a recover on the three spoke and have pictures? How difficult to make it look right?

...Or you could do something outrageous and keep the OEM 4 spoke wheel. I went throught this a few months ago on the verge of getting a Momo corse/tuner, but opted to keep the original look and quality of the equipment the manufacturer provided. As much as I tried to convince myself otherwise, I still came back to the attaction of the OEM wheel. If its good enough for a 959, its good enough for my Carrera.

It is black. It's just doesn't look black in the pic. I love the size.
