Question: 1987 Trailing Arms for a 1970
Gents,
Need to know a few answers on switching out my stock 1970 steel trailing arms for a set of 1987 Alum ones. 1. Must I modify anything else to fit the stock Boge shocks or must I change to a newer set due to the angle. Does anything change when I switch the trailing arms out? 2. Is there anything from the 1970 stock hub section that fits the new alum 1987 set? I will be upgrading the front struts and have bought a set of 1970 ATE 911S alum calipers! I don't mind up grading the rear area, but have no idea what is required when switching out the trailing arms?? Any help from the experts! Thanks ahead, VR Bavaria911 |
