Headliner removal ?
Is it possible to remove the headliner without removing the windshield? How about the dash?

I believe you can get the headliner out w/o taking the windshield out- the clips are buried under the inner rubber of the windshield seal. The windshield must come out to get the dash out.

Remove the headliner? Yes.... Re-install it? No.... You would have to basically rip and pull the headliner against a razor blade to shear it flush w/ the seal because the head liner is glued, wrapped and in a few spots clipped to the lip that the seal envelopes.
Not sure about the dash because some of the push in clamps need to go up before they can move rearward..... Maybe

With the dash, it's not the clips- it's the philips screws located at the base of the windshield that are the problem. Wayne's book talks about headliner replacement- according to his book, you do have to remove the windshield and rear window as well as the quarter glass.
