Wheel Shop in Central Florida

Hey gang;

I need a quality wheel balance for my '85 Carrera and looking for recommended shops in central Florida. I've got a front end shake from 75-85mph that comes and goes about every mile or so.

BTW, just refreshed the entire suspension (front/rear, bushings, bearings, struts, shocks, the works) including pro alignment and corner balance. Had the shake pre-refresh so I'm pretty sure it's a balance issue.

Appreciate the help!

Best,
Hans

Date code is 1307, so i'm thinking 13th week (April) of 2007. Probably time for replace even with plenty of tread left. Thanks for the tip, can't believe i didn't check that first!

I'm in Orlando.

When I lived in Orlando I used Discount Tires the one across the street from High Tide Harry's restaurant. Always did fine by me.

I would look for a shop that does Road Force balancing as that will be the best balance you can do today. Try Orlando tire and wheel.

I've used multiple shops around Orlando who have a road force balancing machine and it's been perfect for the life of the tires each time. Goodyear on W Colonial was one place a few years back, just a little west of OBT. I also used action gator tire on 436 between aloma and howell branch years before that. Both of these places did a custom alignment to my specs too as long as I signed a waiver that I was requesting it. Recently I bought tires from the Discount Tire on 436 just north of Colonial and they did not use a road force balancing machine but they still got them perfectly balanced. BTW these were all on my old Subaru WRX with a custom wheelset, not my Porsche. I haven't taken it anywhere around Orlando yet.
