fuel pump contacts

A few weeks ago, my fuel pump contacts became loose and my 911 wouldn't start. After tightening all was fine, however now I'm starting to have a delayed start. I thought this was the absence of my cold start on the fuel pump at first (its worse below 50º- but now I think it could be a combination of that and my pump contacts. Should i just continue to tighten them or think about replacement?

Whenever you have a problem like this you should remove the wires before tightening and clean off the contact area as the arching when loose will cause build up. Beyond that can you give some more info on type of car and injection system?
cheers~
