dented pan from improper jacking
The floorpan behind the driver's seat of my Carrera has a good sized dent pushed up, probably from improper jacking. What's the best way to push this back into place - step on it? Beat it with a soft-faced mallet? Is there potential for more damage fixing it? Should I leave it alone? I would never have known if I hadn't removed the floor mat. The metal appears to be rust free both inside and underneath.
Thanks, Joe |

If its got any sharp bends in it you may have to use a rubber hammer and a backing board, otherwise you may just be able to stand on it and push it back, the coating may crack, you can put some heat on the undercoating to help keep it from cracking

Take a rubber mallet, pound down on it until it looks flat, and it should be good to go. If that does not work, put a good foot on to it and have at it.
