What are these connections...
...under the steering column on a LHD 82SC. They appear to plug into relays, but I haven't gotten deep enough in my hood "deconstruction" to see what's on the other side...

These look like connector blocks, which connect items such as the ignition key switch to a wiring loom on the trunk side.

I'm pretty sure one will trace back to the turn signal stalk.

no idea - try doing a continuity test while pulling fuses
on the newre schematics there will be some ID of what they are

The one on the right is for the ignition switch. The one in the middle is for the wiper switch. The one on the left is for the hi/low dimmer & turn signal switch. They are just multiplugs that continue the harness into the trunk.
