911 Oil tank? on my 3.6 conversion

Started up my 3.6 conversion for the first time and it ran well. After a few seconds the oil pressure dropped. I checked everything. Found out there was no oil getting to the engine from the oil tank even though it was full. I blew a little compressed air in the 'S' hose and it unplugged and ran out heavy. I reconnected and started the car and it happened all over again. Has anyone ever heard of this happening to a oil tank. I removed it from the car but haven't had time to inspect it. The oil tank worked fine when my 2.7 was in there? What could come loose inside to cause this? The oil level gauge seemed to work fine. Thanks, MGH

So, you removed the S-hose from the tank to the engine oil pump and got no oil flow. Then you blew compressed air into the s-hose to the tank and then the oil came out of the s-hose from the tank.

If that is the case, there is some big FOD in your oil tank. I would remove it, clean it until you find the big peice of something that is giving you greif. I would not attempt to restart until you find it and pray what ever it is is not in your engine.

(this coming from the guy who almost left a rag in the pump inlet line during his rebuild)
Just saw my rebuild flash before my eyes!!!
