Fidanza flywheels and 3.3 turbo quickener

Does anyone have any experience with these products for a 3.3 turbo? If so could you tell me about the benefits of installing them. I know they are lighter, faster revs, spool up, etc, but I would like to hear about them from someone who has actually changed them and noticed an improvement or no improvement.

Thanks in advance,

Leonard

Not familiar with that brand, but I've heard mixed things about using lightened flywheels. Not a good thing for a street car. Probably not as critical for a track car, but I don't race so I can't elaborate on this. As you know the flywheel is often utilized as a "harmonic balancer" of sorts. I think there are more proven methods: after market headers, better turbo, EFI, better I/C, yada, yada, yada...

Here is a description of the " turbo quickener " and the flywheel from performance products.

Here's another way to accelerate your 930. Reducing rotating mass results in a quicker-revving engine. Our conversion ring adapts your flywheel to take the early, lighter aluminum pressure plate. The 12 lb. savings fights turbo lag and engine rev ups quicker.
This conversion has a proven track record of tens of thousands of hard miles and happy owners. Special throw-out bearing included. Save when you buy the complete conversion kit with a factory early pressure plate and spring-centered disc package.

Honestly...if this is a street car, I'd continue to research this further. Looks nice though, FWIW.
