No CD, no A/C, and doesn't even list the mileage!

Or auction number 4605904314, an almost unused GT 1, for $1.225 mil.
I don't think I could get snow tires for either one, though.

This one looks like fun too - this is a 962 kit, right?

JD..if I had that thing, I'd be offering rides in it all day long at the track..just to scare the person in the pasenger seat!

Dave...If I could liquidate some of my crap I'd be happy to settle on just one or two toys....but winter is a terrible time to be selling stuff. The guy In Barrington probably will get less than he can get for that Diasio. If I only had the cash ready Dave...

Where is the Devil when need to trade him for something! Souls are going cheap at my house!

No, that is a Diasio D962, a purpose-built, 1000cc Yamaha-powered DSR for SCCA club racing and track days that resembles a 962. AFAIK, they are not available in kit form, and production of them has been temporarily suspended until development of the new D962R with Mazda Renesis power is completed.

I saw him shaking the Renesis engine down in West Palm Beach a few months back. He was running a Wolf3D in it.

It moved very nicely. Cameron Worth from Pettit Racing was there helping him.

The car was screaming around the track. Mr. Diasio is a really nice guy too. I chatted with him for a little bit. Hell of a car.

If 52 people each put up $11K, you would each get to drive it one week a year, with a little left over for maintanance

I guess kit is a pretty harsh word - I meant - a car based on the look/feel of the 962 that is not a 962...

Does it seem like there's a lot of positive camber on the front wheels?

this auction actually has a bidder. I wonder if he realizes he just spent 1.2 mil? has only 3 feedback.
