Tire for Spare?
Any thoughts on a good, cheap tire in the 205/55-15 size for use as a spare? Obviously, I won't be going super fast if I put a spare on...
Place here carries Kelly, Dunlap, and Goodyear...

TireRack gives me these choices:
1. Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Asymmetrical (Ultra High Performance All-Season) 2. Dunlop SP Sport FM901 (Ultra High Performance Summer) - only $70 at TR 3. Goodyear Eagle GT-HR (High Performance All-Season) - only $73 at TR, but a lower level or I could just get the Kelly tires. Any ideas on that as a spare?

I always seem to get a good deal on used tires for spares. Any tire shop should have several. Many times four tires removed for a new set will contain one very high-rubber tire. The next thing I look for is an aspect ratio that is skinnier than my tires on the ground but the same, or similar circumference.
